Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello, born April 18, 1967 in America is an actress and producer as well as writer and director. Her film roles include Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2000), The Cooler (2003), A History of Violence (2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008), Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013), and Lights Out (2016). Bello was a TV actress as the character Dr. Anna Del Amico, which was a medical drama, and aired from 1997 to 1998. She also played the role of Michelle McBride on Goliath's first season in 2016 as well as Special Agent Jacqueline Sloane on NCIS which she portrayed as the main agent. Bello was born April 18, 1967 in Norristown, Pennsylvania,[2] to Kathy, a school nurse and teacher as well as Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She grew up in a middle-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Bello pursued a degree in politics at Villanova University. Bello studied acting in New York and continued to improve her skills after graduation. Bello was married to Dan McDermott and has a son who is named Jackson. Bello published a blog in November of 2013 about her similar-sex relationship, Clare Munn, and how it ended. She published a book called Whatever...Love Is Loving: Examining the labels we give to Others (Dey Street Books, April 28 2015.).
